Self-help groups are groups of people who have experienced similar problems, and who help and support each other to master life, express feelings and build safe relationships.

Many people who have attended one-to-one talks with us want to continue in a self-help group. Those attending these groups all share their similar experiences. A self-help group is a safe place where both individuals and groups can develop and grow.

These groups aim to provide each individual with help and support so that they are further prepared to cope with their lives, express their feelings and build safe relationships. The groups are led by two employees and the discussion topics are selected by the participants. The meetings last for approx. 2.5 hours and are normally held 8 times.
